Radical Textiles

Radical Textiles was a major survey exhibition held at the Art Gallery of South Australia of historical and contemporary textile artists and artefacts.

My commissioned silk diptych Splitting Space, 2024 is a response to the exhibited Grayson Perry wall tapestry Provocations. Each silk-printed ink drawing responds to a side of the Perry tapestry, which has very contrasting colours due to the nature of jacquard weaving. My work was exhibited beside a Sheila Hicks silk yarn sculpture.
